Representation

I would like to address how worldwide issues can be used in films. Most of the Tv shows that have came out recently target current events in order to bring awareness of what is occurring. These companies involve the public’s perception on the topic addressed. President Trump’s election has brought awareness to much of the Illegal statues of Immigrants. Some of the recent Tv shows and movie films have brought awareness to the public of the unfair ways that the Immigrants are being treated. Many citizens of the united states compare at times President Trump’s action to our former President Mr. Obama.

Two ways in which theses conception have spread have to do with what people are watching and social media. One of the recent Tv-shows that has to do with President Trump is the new season of The Fosters. In The Fosters the main character tries to fight ICE for the rights that the other character (Illegal Immigrant) deserves. Some of the reasons Illegal Immigrants stay in the United State is because of political corruption, dangerous environment, and shortage of resources. Within my project I would like to represent some of theses issues that have been occurring in politics and involve humor, too. By adding humor to my project I would be able to soften the issue and what is being displayed. In most of the social media network President Trump is seen as an individual who has brought some abnormal changes. Some of theses changes are being viewed as right and wrong. I feel that most of the characteristic that are portrayed on Mr.Trump’s character are seen as maleficent and selfish.

I do agree on some of the opposing opinions about how Illegal Immigrants are being treated. I believe that most of the companies that portrait Mr.Trump in such a way is to raise their viewings. I believe that it is fair because of his acton and I do not think that they are wrong for expressing their beliefs through a film. I choose to believe that everyone has a say in what they believe in. Although, for my project i would like to challenge some of these believe of the evil that they are doing to the Illegal Immigrant and express what can occur just by having them live in the United State without a statues. I would like to challenge much of the public's perception on Mr.Trump and his action by getting the public to look at an outcome that can be involved with his belief and the actions.

Comedy 

Comedy movies are my go-to when I am in need of a good laugh. The focus of comedy films
are usually shown in two ways: a composition that is made with lots of jokes or situation-comedy
which are usually told within a narrative. Comedy is a genre that is occasionally seen in a variety
of major genres like thriller-comedy, musical-comedy, and horror-comedy. The comedy genre is
portrayed with a  humorous exaggeration of a situation, the language, action, and characters.
The Character’s embodiment and role is crucial to comedy films.

The main focus in comedy films is to indulge the viewers into humorous joke or actions that
are being displayed on the screen. In other to do that comedy films uses production techniques
like Mid-shots, close-ups, point of view, two-shots, and establishing shots to tell the story. Some
of the editing that can be seen are continuity editing, reverse shot, and crosscutting. Some movies
also consolidate sound effect into scenes to add humor. Different shots offer different perspectives
of the character’s life to the audience. Editing is also really important in a film. Continuity editing is
used to change from one shot to another, it is commonly seen with point of view shots. Reverse
shot editing is common in a conversation between two characters. Finally, Crosscutting helps the
audience get a close look into something that is occurring somewhere else.

Home alone : This movie greatly establishes the amusing and trouble making decisions that the

main character does throughout the movie. This movie is full of fun, charismatic, humorous, and

trouble making scenes. It starts of with the main character getting the chickenpox which leads to him

to stay home. A group of robbers try to break into his house but the little boy plants prank throughout

the whole house that way the robbers can’t get in to it. The establishment of theses scenes are very

well composed. Many of the scenes are composed using establishing shots, close-ups, two shots, and

point of view. The establishing shot  is used to show that the movie takes place in the character's house

and it’s also used in some of the character’s pranks. The close-up helps indulge the viewers more into

what the character is going through and his emotions. They are commonly seen in scenes because of

the pranks that are being done by the little boy, these shots help show the humorous reactions the boy

has towards the pranks. The two-shots helped show how close the little boy and robbers were to

each other, giving the movie a sense of suspense. In conclusion, a comedy film uses a variety of

shots in order to establish the comedic events that is portrayed.

CrazyRichAsians: This is a movie that mainly focuses on the wild, fun, and humor of its characters.

Most of the funny events that are established through the movie have to deal with the conversations

that the characters have or their reaction to some of the news. This film has to do with a couple that

is going to Singapore for a wedding. When they get to Singapore the girlfriend of the guy finds out

that he is “crazy rich” and that he is part of a  well-known family. Most of the shots that are seen in this

movie are establishing shots, Two-shots, Mid-shots, and Close-Ups. The establishing shots show the

beautiful places and as to where the scene will taking place. The two-shots can enable the viewer to

acknowledge how comfortable or uncomfortable the two characters are with each other and their

reaction to what the may be talking about. Close-up is another type of shot that greatly emphasizes

on the character and his/her feelings. This mix of camera shots enable the movie’s characters to be

greatly recognized. In comedy films characters, feelings and reactions, have to been commonly

portrayed in order to make the movie fun, interactive and humorous.

More comedy movies: DeadPool, Christmas vacation, Dumb and Dumber, Bridesmaids, Grown Ups, 21 Jump Street, and Ocean 8.

Action Films 

What makes Action films the best is the thrilling, explosive, and suspenseful emotions in its intense and powerful scenes which are developed throughout. Much of its content is established with an extended amount of chases, fights, battles, physical stunts and races. These scenes are all featured around a mission that the protagonist has to undergo in order to solve a dilemma.

The production techniques that are most commonly seen in action films are fast pacing shots, close-ups, establishing shots, pan movement, High and low angel, extreme long shots, point of view, jump cuts, and graphic match. The Fast pacing shot are created to present an edgy and sharp appeal. Close-ups shots which are used to create an intense visual are brought into the film in order to draw the audience into the character’s emotions. The emotions that are frequently displayed in close-ups are scared, surprised, relief, and worried. Pan movement helps the viewer keep up with action that is occurring on scene, this is a technique that is identified in chasing scenes. The High angles can make the  character seem inferior to another character. Unlike, Low angle shot these shot produce a powering effect. As you can see many of these techniques are brought into the action films to create an uprising and surprising turnout. 

Action films are usually the most watched films in a movie theater. They are composted to target an audience whose age ranges between 15-40 years old.  Teenagers are the most common viewers because of the adrenaline rushes that most of these films give to its audience. In contrary,  once adults have reached a certain age their appeal to action films starts to decrease. This may occur because of its fast paced scene and graphic details. Theses are some of the reasons as to why most of the action films involve hot protagonist and antagonist. Two actors that are well known in the action business are Tom cruise from Mission Impossible and Jason Statham from 007. One of the best ways of marketing a movie is by having a well establish good looking actor to represent it. The trailers of these movies are composted to show some of the most intense scenes while displaying a upbeat song that will encourage the audience to dive into its action.

Jurassic park

This film is a really deep, thought-provoking action film that displays a representation of what it means to be a human in a world that is colliding with its past. Jurassic Park is intended to provide a memorable thrill and intense action sequences, all packed in a scientific disaster that backdrops to amazing dinosaur chasing and fighting scenes. This film shows a perfect example of a disaster film like Twister or Armageddon, the film shows very little violence but gets it all back with the shocking effect towards its audience.  

Avengers: Infinity War

This film shows a perfect example of an action-packed, exciting, and surprisingly dark action film. This stunning films manages to intertwined dozens of characters spread across an entire universe and also assemble an amazing slick, explosive, and epic showdown. This film represents the perfect combination of amazing combat scenes in the entire universe to the most loving and touching scenes that will reach into the very deep end of our souls. This film also shows a perfect example of effectively shifting from one amazing battling scene to the next, and adequately most of the dozens of characters that have been introduced over the years. This action film is a thrilling, epic clash of titans that exceeded most of our expectations.   

Actions Films - Fast and furious (series), Hobbit, London has fallen, Olympus has fallen, Star wars, Iron man (series) , Harry potter (series), and War of the planet of the apes.

Hello! My name Thabata Gonzalez and I am currently a junior in High School. I have created
this blog site to inform you about Action films. Ever since i was really little I always loved action
films. My favorite movies are the Fast and Furious series. I am currently taking an Aice Media
Studies course which has indulged me into how films are made and why some techniques are
better than others. On my first official post I will be talking about what content is involved in Action
films, some of its production techniques, and how are Action films marketed.
